Adam Welbon, Operations Manager

Adam is the grandson to our founder, Bruce Welbon, and the son of our President, Bill Welbon. Adam grew up proud of the family business and after graduating from college, he took on a management role at a local sporting goods retailer. After a few years there, he decided it was time to join the family business. Adams' background was deeply rooted in customer service and obviously growing up in the family he did, so was flooring. Since he came on in 2010, Adam has been involved in every aspect of the business. He is now the Operations Manager but still does some project managing for our insurance customers. Adam is thrilled to be apart of his family's business and is planning on taking over ownership when his father retires.

Chris Fall, Flooring Specialist/Project Manager

Chris has been with Veterans Carpet One since 2007, a move that brought Chris full circle back to the flooring business. Born in New York City, the flooring business brought Chris’ family to Denver in the early 1970s.  His father was a carpet rep who sold carpet to the local retailers including Veterans Carpet One. Chris was a Columbine High School and CU Boulder Alumnus. He worked in flooring stores throughout high school and college in varying capacities. After a two year stint in the Peace Corps in the North African Country of Tunisia, Chris returned to the Denver area and has spent the last 25 years working in the sales, marketing, and project management fields. Chris has spent the last 15 years working specifically in the home improvement / flooring business fields doing everything from working as a flooring technician, remodel business owner, and now proudly serving the greater Denver area as a flooring specialist / project manager for Veterans Carpet One. His son Simon spends time with him at the store and we are all hoping to have another generation working here at Veterans Carpet One someday.

Walt Music, Flooring Specialist/Project Manager

Walt has been in this business for most of his life. In 1981, after 5 years, he came out of the field as a carpenter and a construction field supervisor. Between 2003 and 2009, he started his own flooring measuring service and did general contracting work.
